Literary Agent,

Publicist and Manager

People behind books matter. Books can inspire deeply, hit the mark, move worlds. I look forward to working with you.

My area of expertise is popular non-fiction, both as a literary agent and public relations manager. Working as an author and journalist (print, radio, TV) plus the many years I have spent managing bestselling non-fiction authors, has helped me to develop a strong network of contacts and experience in this field.

Hand in hand with the publisher, I support authors from the first idea of the book and the development of a synopsis, through the acquisition of a publisher, the first publishing talks and contract negotiations, the manuscript and editing phase, up to PR and marketing around the publication.

In case of international book projects, I cooperate with Literary Agency Michael Gaeb.

If your vision includes more than just a book, I arrange lectures - in cooperation with German-speaking and international speaker agencies - and co-develop other projects such as podcasts, TV and film engagements, as well as audience events. I also keep an eye on the social media sector too. I am a team player and enjoy working on large, even international projects.

As a curious and strategic observer of the non-fiction market, I will gladly advise you should you be unsure if your idea can become more than just a scratch on paper?

Yours truly,

EKENÄS DIALOG

In 2019, my partner Damian Franzen and I founded the writers' and artists' residency SATAMA HOUSE in Ekenäs, southern Finland. The idea of a German-Finnish cultural festival grew out of this residency. In the summer of 2022, we organised it for the first time with an overwhelming response. From 24-28 July 2024 our EKENÄS DIALOG will take place for the second time with the motto “NATURE meets HUMAN” - HERE you find the festival page with ticket link.
